International disaster, gonna be a blaster
Gonna rearrange our lives
International disaster, send for the master
Don't wait to see the white of his eyes
International disaster, international disaster
Price of silver droppin' so do yer Christmas shopping
Before you lose the chance to score (Pembroke)

Between Brian and lsdetroit's contributions I'm going to have plenty of great music to blow the store's gagworthy shite out of my mind after work.

Yeah, I've seen that. What I find amazing is the silly dancing people are forced to do to his crazy chopped-up rhythms. To me his stuff is more like classical music rather than dance music in as much as you have to place your attention on it and let it wash through you. It's more of a total musical experience that just a banging-beat and a bit of jiggling around - though there's absolutely nothing wrong with a bit of jiggling around to a banging beat either - as he completely subverts that catatonic response to the monotonous looped ostinato. I've never seen him, nor am I likely to, but the live clips I've seen are more akin to sonic attack or noise abuse and stir the juices of his victims by the sheer number and diversity of the sonic artefacts he throws at the audience's poor, beer addled brains fired under extreme sound pressure. I bet you leave one of his gigs feeling like you're leaving a warzone - dazed, confused, not sure of what exactly went on and how you feel about it but glad to be alive nonetheless.lsdetroit wrote:brian, you also have to see this if you havent already. its an interview aaron did in france and he effectively blows off every question with a nonsensical answer.
