The rich and warm sound of the cello is very enjoyable, but only in smallish doses, for me at least.

http://liveweb.arte.tv/fr turns out to be a great site for music. And no ads. Pity I don't know French, but it's easy to work out that recherche avancée means advanced search. Click on that, and you're off on your journey. Nice. Bookmarked, and thanks for drawing our attention to it.
I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein’s brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops. - Stephen J. Gould

You can change the language to German, top right.

Oh, thanks for pointing that out. Pity there's no English option for those who don't know the other two.

This is not exactly classic, but orchestral jazz, can pass as modern classic, there is a boy choir as well, and Carly Bley is really a Grand Dame!

17th century Spanish bawdiness. Beautiful.

Now imagine the above performance being done with the voice of the singer below.

Woohoo. :)

Oh, yeah, do you know she played in this formation: Accordion Tribe? Lars Hollmer died last year, unfortunately:
