International disaster, gonna be a blaster
Gonna rearrange our lives
International disaster, send for the master
Don't wait to see the white of his eyes
International disaster, international disaster
Price of silver droppin' so do yer Christmas shopping
Before you lose the chance to score (Pembroke)

A very confident Moon at 14. Kind of intimidating if I had been 14 and had to talk to her.

It must have been fantastic for him to finally come across a group of traditional musicians with such great skills and talent after the catalogue of fuck-ups he had to endure with the LSO. Shame it was so close to his death.

He wrote this piece specifically for the Synclavier because he genuinely thought no live band or orchestra could do it justice!

btw, Zappa plays Zappa also play it as a rock track but I can't find a YT of it. :(

Did a fairly thorough search and I can't find a Dweezil version of it. I think there is one somewhere though.

I find him rather sexist, tedious and tiresome. That he could make interesting sounds no doubt. So can my lavatory on occasion. :coffee:

He was sexist - misogynistic to a great extent, misanthropic, independent minded and a pain in the arse. I disliked most of his political and social pronouncements.

But for my money he was a musical genius and I can enjoy his music just for that.
