"You came along just like a song
And brightened my day
Who would have believed that you were part of a dream
Now it all seems light years away"

The Lords Prayer of Manilowism
"I grow old … I grow old …
I shall wear the bottoms of my trousers rolled"

AND MERRY XMAS TO ONE AND All!

In the hymn "The Old Songs", Our Lord Manilow describes how the power of music may bring about the Resurrection of the faithful at the end of times.

And maybe the old songs
will bring back the old times
Maybe the old lines will sound new
Maybe shell lay her head on my shoulder
Maybe old feelings will come through
Maybe well start to cry
and wonder why
we ever walked away
Maybe the old songs
will bring back the old times
and make her want to stay

Interestingly, in a number of reports of Out of Body experiences coming out of A&E wards, patients have described hearing this song...

"I grow old … I grow old …
I shall wear the bottoms of my trousers rolled"

AND MERRY XMAS TO ONE AND All!

There is hope for Rationalia, so long as more of its denizens let Manilow into their hearts.

Feck, you are denounced as a Heretic! Your pronouncement that the above song is "wrong" goes against the ruling of the 3rd Manilan Council of 1983 which proclaimed that Manilow was both ineffeable and infallible.

See you in Church on Sunday:-

"I grow old … I grow old …
I shall wear the bottoms of my trousers rolled"

AND MERRY XMAS TO ONE AND All!
