No, not at all. I just agree with Senate Republicans and the NRA that the current no-fly list (which is NOT the "terrorist watch list") does not include adequate safeguards and due process with respect to the civil rights of those placed on it
in error or by mistake of identity, and that therefore using that list to deny a US citizen his or her fundamental right to keep and bear arms is unacceptable. Change the no-fly list system by providing adequate oversight, checks and balances and due process of law for those (to be) placed on the list so that innocent people who happen to have the same name and birthday as a legitimate no-fly suspect or who are wrongfully placed on that list are not unconstitutionally denied their fundamental civil rights, including the right to board a private aircraft or own a gun, and I won't have a problem and neither will Congress. But that's not what the Democrats want. They don't care about civil rights at all, they just want another of the thousand cuts by which they intend to infringe on the rights of ALL Americans in their quest for gun bans.
It is more than a little humorous that one of the arch-enemies of an armed citizenry, Teddy Kennedy, was on the no-fly list and had endless headaches trying to travel by plane.
Now, if the system is reformed to prevent miscarriages of justice and arbitrary denial of civil rights then I'm fine with a no-fly list and I'm fine with denying persons on that list the right to keep and bear arms at all, not just the right to buy them. On the other hand, if someone is enough of a danger to the public to justify putting them on a no-fly list legitimately, why are they still at large? If they pose such a danger they should be in custody and/or deported. Thus, there is in reality no need at all for a "no-fly list" because all such persons should be in custody or not in this country and not allowed to enter it, which of course must be ensured by first securing the borders of this nation, using whatever degree of force is required to prevent illegal border crossings, up to and including deadly physical force.
Your virulent anti-muslim rhetoric and your virulent pro-gun rhetoric may have found an area where they can have a little battle inside your skull...
Nope. I just know more than you do about the situation because I study such things carefully before I write about them, whereas you just pull crap out of your ass and post it, thinking that it's truth, which most often it's not, as I demonstrate pretty much each and every time you splatter your shit about.
