Since I'm a gun owner, I'll be surviving and passing my DNA onto my children, as well as my culture. They will be gun owners and my grandchildren will too. Your restriction of freedom is a complete and utter failure. Gun owners exercise restraint and de-esculate. I'm completely sane and know I'd never use a firearm on someone unless I absolutely had to. I would never want to have to live with knowing I took a life. You on the other hand would probably get emotional in a non-life threatening situation, not be sane enough to control yourself, and in a rage, decide to actually use lethal force on someone just because you got emotional and couldn't control yourself. You are the kind of person who shouldn't be allowed to have a firearm, not me. Your post illustrates that.

This is what Seth is talking about when he says, "an armed society is a polite society." You're perfectly comfortable attacking me personally from the safety of your keyboard, but you'd never say such things to my face, and you'd definitely not threaten my life if we both we armed. You seem to be some kind of stat whore. General stats like life expectancy by country, have little meaning to an individual. Your lifespan has much more to do with how you take care of yourself. Do you eat healthy? Exercise?

Whether someone lives in my country or yours, if a person eats junk food all the time, doesn't exercise, lives a sedentary lifestyle, smokes, etc. they're going to die sooner.

Your survival depends on you and your life decisions. Not fucking stats.
