Trying to clean out one of the garages, fuck me there's a lot of garbage in there. Going to have to get vicious.

Found some cool stuff. Two 1970s gelatin molds, one of a pineapple and one of a fish. Three (Count 'em! THREE!) fondue sets, we must have a 70s dinner. Salmon mousse in the shape of a fish and three fondues - cheese, meat, and chocolate. Not sure about the pineapple. I'm tempted to do a ridiculous gelatin desert, or maybe a liver pate with some sort of yellow topping and olives for the pineapple eye things. I could put a cocktail onion, a chunk of cheese, and a little pickle on toothpicks and stick them in the pate.

There's a Swarovski thingy called "Four Bee Eaters", worth about $350 USD. And two Rupert Bear Annuals, for 1974 and 1975. Worth probably 20 quid each. Now, if we had the 1973 annual with brown faced Rupert cover, it's worth 30,000 quid. 60fuckingThousand Rands. Story of my life, a day late and a dollar short.

"Law enforcement officials in Maine tell CNN that Card is a certified firearms instructor and a member of the US Army Reserve. Card had recently made threats to carry out a shooting at a National Guard facility in Saco, Maine, and also reported mental health issues, including hearing voices, the officials said."


According to law enforcement, the alert says, “Card recently reported mental health issues to include hearing voices and threats to shoot up the National Guard Base in Saco, ME. Card was also reported to have been committed to mental health facility for two weeks during summer 2023 and subsequently released.”
