Any documentary with a title beginning "Hitler's Hidden ..." does not sound promising.

Re: Hitler's Hidden Drug Habit
It's been a well documented fact for decades, that Hitler was an amphetamine junkie in his later years. He was prescribed amphetamines by his personal doctor, in order to allow him to keep awake for long hours whilst running the Third Reich. Unfortunately, this action had the same delightful effect that it had on some WWII bomber crews. The difference being that the WWII bomber crews were weaned off amphetamines when the psychotic side effects made this approach to increasing endurance untenable.
There's a peer reviewed paper on the Allies' amphetamine usage here.

As for bomber crew amphetamines, I wonder what's in those pills that truckers take to stay awake on long-haul journeys?

and then what, he would have invaded Holland first and then attacked Italy. If I didn't know any better I would think you are trying to shoehorn gin into every post here on ratz.JimC wrote:If only he'd stuck to neat gin...

Drugs is chemistry. Lots of drugs came out of the Nazi research program. For instance tramadol was worked out following a lead they had from Nazi era chemicals. They were not the same but similar to the nazi leads.

I'm currently on tramadol, it's the only thing I have that seems to be able to control my back pain.... I hope my doc will prescribe more of it Wednesday, if a serious solution is not found

Have never had to look at surgical options. My neck pain is so far manageable. Lower back pain is the worst.

Restaurateur stumbles on Hitler's cognac stash
As the German army was in retreat at the end of 1944 and the country starved, Hitler stashed away his precious liquor, where it lay hidden for 76 years - until now.
