First in the queue, the Fairey Gannet:

... there are some great kits of this available though.

Note: I've asked for the first thread on seaplanes to be moved to this section.

That's not ugly! But the blue aircraft behind it is.

Oh, the Wessex?

The AEW version of the Gannet is definitely ugly:

That one looks like it's pregnant. I'd be worried flying that due to the thought of it giving birth in the air :shifty:

And now, one that should be on every short-list of aesthetically challenged aircraft - the Avro Bison:

The Blohm und Voss B+V 141 looks like an oil painting compared to that monstrosity:

And extremely dangerous! You'd never catch me in it!

It's a pilot killer. It's so unstable that only the best Aviators can fly it. But even they would have trouble.

It's ugly and very dangerous.

TBH, it looks as if someone fixed some wheels to a Polikarpov I-16 and then tried to squash it:

Never heard of him

That aircraft is still a bitch! It's a well known pilot killer. It's so unstable and very unsafe that it has killed many pilots.
It's deadly!
I would refuse to just sit in the cockpit.

I've only studied bits of it and taken in some info from pilots who flew it. They say all it wants to do is crash.
I'd never fly it! :nono:
